Five Emperors Fortune Magnetic Pins

Five emperors, five fonts, one wish,
This is the Chinese heritage of the "blessing" culture.

The emperors of the Qing Dynasty followed the custom and ordered the Imperial Astronomical Observatory to select an auspicious day in the twelfth month of each year to write the word "Fu" on rice paper with a dragon pattern printed on it.

During the Spring Festival of the following year, the word "Fu" was awarded to princes and ministers with meritorious service to show the blessing. The ministers who received the blessing often carved the word "Fu" into a plaque and hung it high in the hall to show the supreme honor.

This product is made from aerospace-grade metal offcuts—leftover materials from precision machining.
Though small in size, these offcuts are still high quality but too tiny for larger components. Typically, they’re melted down for recycling—a process that consumes a lot of energy and isn’t eco-friendly.
Metal Arts takes a sustainable approach by repurposing these offcuts into unique designs, preserving original machining marks and holes.
What was once destined for the furnace is now reborn with creativity and cultural meaning—each piece one of a kind.
